Amtrak Vacations is Offering a 10-Day Flash Sale

There’s nothing quite like seeing America’s beautiful scenery from the comfort of a train and for those who love train travel as much as we do, Amtrak Vacations have announced a 10-day flash sale.
From February 27 through March 8th, Amtrak is offering the chance to save up to $300 when you upgrade to a private Bedroom aboard the train. Amtrak Bedroom accommodations feature two adult beds, an enclosed toilet and shower, and an in-room sink and vanity.

Travelers can save $200 if they upgrade to a Roomette on the train. Roomette’s feature two seats, which convert to beds.

Both Bedroom and Roomette upgrades also give travelers priority boarding, all meals included onboard the train, personal service (turn-down, coffee, makeup bed), fresh towels and bed linens, and access to train station private lounge where available.
While Amtrak offers a multitude of different vacation packages, we love their Grand Rail Experience. Over the course of 14 days, Amtrak passengers take in the sights as they depart Chicago for Seattle where they stay overnight in a hotel to fully enjoy everything the ‘Emerald City’ has to offer. From Seattle, the train travels south to Los Angeles before heading to the Mardi Gras city of New Orleans. From New Orleans, the train treks north to our Nation’s capital of Washington D.C. before heading back to Chicago. Prices for the Grand Rail Experience start from $2049.
